Web Developer & Creator

Building things
that grow.

Websites with roots. Crafted with intention, built to last, and designed to actually mean something.

Who I am

Rooted in craft,
driven by community.

Hey, I'm Camryn. I'm a web developer in Plant City, FL, and I build websites for local businesses. That's the short version. The longer version is that I really, genuinely care about the people I work with and the businesses they're building.

I think most people have had the experience of paying for a website and then never hearing from their developer again. That's not how I work. I stick around. I'm constantly tweaking, improving, watching what's working and what's not. SEO is a huge part of what I do, and I take it seriously from both sides: the technical stuff like structured data and site architecture, and the human side like understanding what real people are actually searching for. I want my clients showing up where it matters.

I'm also really passionate about accessibility. I build every site to WCAG AA standards, not because it checks a box, but because the internet should work for everyone. A more accessible world is just a better world, full stop.

When I'm not building for clients, I'm working on my own stuff. I run a custom LED night light business, I do fun side projects like themed party invitation sites, and I spend a lot of time outside with my plants and bees. Basically, I like making things grow, whether that's a business, a garden, or a weird idea I had at 2 a.m.

505 Party
Just for fun

This one was just for fun. We love hosting parties, and for this one we went all out with a retro theme. Guests got physical mailed invitations with a password hint ("who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"), and they had to answer it on the site to unlock the party details. Retro games, themed food, the whole thing.

What I did
Built the whole site around the retro concept. The password gate, the reveal, the aesthetic. I wanted the website to feel like part of the party itself, not just a page with an address on it. The mailed invite and the site were designed to work together as one experience.

This is my own business. I design and make custom acrylic LED night lights (Lumi Lights) and sell them at comic conventions and online. The site needed to feel the way the lights feel: dreamy, soft, a little anime-inspired. Like something from another world.

What I did
Everything. Design, development, e-commerce through Square, product photography direction, all the product copy, and ongoing performance work like image compression and Lighthouse optimization. This one is personal, so it gets the most attention.

A local HVAC company that needed to actually show up when people search for AC repair in their area. The client had a strong color vision I wasn't sure about at first, but once it came together I loved it. This project is a great example of what SEO can do — you're not paying for ads, you're investing in showing up organically.

What I did
Built the full site with accessibility baked in from the start. The big win here is SEO — we got them ranking for "AC repair" in their area and it's driven a real boost in call volume. Built out local SEO landing pages, handled structured data and indexing issues, and set the client up with a Looker Studio dashboard so he can track performance without digging through Search Console. I'm still actively maintaining and improving this one.
